Playtech renews Ontario tackle NorthStar and advances financing.

Playtech has extended a strategic partnership between its Playtech Software Limited and the NorthStar Ontario subsidiary of NorthStar Gaming Holdings and agreed to advance CA$3.0m (£1.8m/€2.1m/US$2.2m) in short-term financing to the latter. SkyCity Entertainment Group has announced the appointment of experienced gambling executive Jason Walbridge as its new chief executive. Walbridge is set to begin his new role at SkyCity in July this year. Relax Gaming names Stålros as contemporary CEO.

Igaming aggregator and content supplier Relax Gaming has announced the appointment of Martin Stålros as its new CEO. Stålros takes on the CEO position after almost 10 years as chief operating officer of Relax Gaming.  He is replacing Simon Hammon, who has served as Relax CEO since 2022 after three years as chief product officer.

Nygaard-Andersen hails transformation of ‘responsible’ Entain.

Lottery.com secures $18.0m in funding from Prosperity Investment Management.

Lottery technology broker Lottery.com has secured an $18.0m (£14.2m/€16.4m) investment commitment from financial group Prosperity Investment Management. Lottery.com said it will use the funds to “accelerate” its strategic acquisition plans.
