Kindred leading in Netherlands as income up 29% in Q2.

In its Q2 financial report Kindred posted a 29% year-on-year increase in revenue to £307.3m (€356m/$394m). Kindred’s Q2 focus on cost controls amid an ongoing strategic review and a strong performance in the Netherlands are keeping the business on track to surpass full-year earnings expectations, according to interim CEO Nils Andén. Kindred departures proceed as CMO and CCO quit.

Swedish gaming operator Kindred Group has confirmed that chief marketing officer Elen Barber and chief commercial officer Anne-Jaap Snijders have both resigned from the company. Norway regulator pauses Kindred fines again in latest U-turn.

Norwegian regulator Lotteritilsynet will once again pause its daily fines against Kindred, having now determined that the Unibet operator does not target Norway. The pause is the latest step in a long saga between Kindred and authorities in Norway, including Lotteritilsynet. Lotteritilsynet in September warned Kindred that it would impose a fine of NOK1.198m (£98,902/€113,930/$116,930)
